Patient Resources from Trusted Associations

Living with or caring for someone affected by autoimmune encephalitis can be overwhelming. The following resources, developed by recognized patient organizations, are here to provide clear, reliable, and supportive information at different stages of the journey. 

   The Encephalitis Society offers easy-to-understand resources about encephalitis in general, including a booklet explaining the condition, a guide focused on recovery and rehabilitation after encephalitis, and a series of short, friendly educational videos available on YouTube. 

     ENMDAR Association provides a French-language flyer specifically dedicated to anti-NMDAR encephalitis, designed to help patients and families better understand this condition. 

      The International Autoimmune Encephalitis Society (IAES) shares expert-led educational content through its Speaker Series, including the AE Awareness Month Speaker Series (February 2026), offering webinars for patients, caregivers, and families.
