Blanca Lucio, MD

I come from a small village in northern Spain. I completed my medical studies in Cantabria before moving to the capital, Madrid, where I had the opportunity to train in neurology at a large university hospital.

Thanks to several colleagues who already had the opportunity to come here, I discovered neuro-oncology and developed a real interest in this fascinating field. So, without hesitation, I chose Professor Jérôme Honnorat's department for my external rotation.

Since my arrival, I have felt very welcome. The team combines exceptional scientific excellence with a warm, friendly atmosphere. From the very first days, I was fully integrated into the department's activities and given the opportunity to actively participate in various projects, including the one on anti-Hu "long-surviving" patients, on which I am currently working.
